💸 How to Buy Crypto on Venmo

Venmo allows crypto purchases using your Venmo balance or linked card.

1. Open Venmo​

Go to Venmo.com or open the mobile app.

2. Navigate to Crypto​

  1. Tap Crypto (₿) in the menu.
  2. Choose your coin (BTC, ETH, LTC, or BCH).
  3. Tap Buy and confirm your amount.

💡 Venmo uses PayPal’s backend system for crypto transactions.

3. Send Crypto Out​

  1. Open the coin you bought.
  2. Tap Transfer → Send Crypto → External Wallet.
  3. Paste your personal wallet address and confirm.

⚠️ Venmo currently only supports withdrawals for BTC, ETH, LTC, and BCH.
To send USDC/USDT or Solana, use another exchange such as Coinbase or Kraken.
