💵 How to Buy Crypto on Cash App

Cash App makes it simple to buy and send Bitcoin (BTC) directly from your phone.

1. Set Up Cash App​

  1. Download Cash App on iOS or Android.
  2. Verify your identity (name, DOB, last 4 of SSN).
  3. Link a bank account or debit card.

2. Purchase Bitcoin​

  1. Tap the Bitcoin (₿) tab.
  2. Tap Buy and select an amount.
  3. Confirm your purchase.

⏳ Cash App may hold BTC up to 24 hours for security on new accounts.

3. Enable Bitcoin Withdrawals​

  1. Tap Bitcoin → Withdraw Bitcoin.
  2. Verify your identity if prompted (photo ID).
  3. Once approved, you’ll see the withdrawal option.

4. Send to Your Wallet​

  1. Tap Bitcoin → Withdraw → Send.
  2. Paste your wallet address or scan the QR code.
  3. Confirm and send.

Cash App only supports Bitcoin, so use other exchanges for ETH, SOL, or stablecoins.
